Keynote: An Inner Space Odyssey: Exploring the Transformative Vision
Saturday, March 28 - 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm
These are the mythic years. We are an emerging species, gestating in the womb of time, gods in hiding, growing the capacities to serve the Earth. To accomplish this intent, we must explore the outer reaches of inner space. This is where we will learn to travel the worlds of myth, symbol and creative imagination: the building blocks that can incite our lives to grow to match our dreams. You are invited to explore and populate the vast imaginative dimensions of your inner spaces. These inner realities provide a primary source for all creativity, allowing you to enrich and enhance all your physical, mental and emotional capacities as you learn techniques to awaken previously latent potentials. You will discover your place in the collective New Story.
Goal: To explore the art and science of inner space – individual and collective, personal and transpersonal.
Learning Objectives:
- To explore alternative cognitive modes of thinking and imaging as gateways to latent human potentials in the therapeutic arena,
- To learn to use mind, imagination and will to design and create a fuller and richer inner life that can manifest in the everyday world, and
- To access the mind-body process of genius and high-level creativity.
Workshop: Re-Visioning Ourselves, Transforming Our World
Saturday, March 28 - 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm
These are exciting times, with great potential for a collaborative multicultural global society. Leadership is ill prepared for the seemingly endless and overwhelming challenges facing us today. Training is insufficient, the systems in place are inadequate and the THINKING behind it all is ineffective in the long-term. It is up to us to do our part in ensuring the vision for the kind of peaceful, collaborative, non-exploitive world we want is realized. A world civilization – one that works for everyone – will maintain fierce and respectful individuation of cultures and peoples, coupled with an earth-centered, buoyant awareness of the spiritual dimensions within all things. We will come together to develop the inner skills that allow us to co-create this emergent paradigm.
Goal: To apply the holographic model of reality and the new physics of consciousness to everyday life – to expand the mind-brain system.
Learning Objectives:
- To utilize ancient as well as futuristic mind/body techniques to step outside of usual perceptions to see new solutions and possibilities,
- To explore ways in which we can become an evoker of new ways of being and meaning in cultural and community networks, and
- To craft a blueprint for a new paradigm to optimize individual/cultural/global potentialities.
